Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Saturday night that the vote on Senate Republicans ObamaCare repeal and replace bill would be delayed until a later date.
His statement did not say when a vote would take place, but only that consideration of the Better Care act would be deferred while Senator John McCain recovers from surgery he underwent this Friday.
Without McCain present, Republican senators will not be able to put 50 votes together to win a procedural vote. Sens. Rand Paul and Susan Collins have already announced that they will oppose the procedural vote.
